During the course of the program, I attended writing workshops to help children from the Glebe Primary School to piece together their stories. With their permission, I, as well as two other classmates adapted the story of two boys named Jesse and Wess into an animation.
We drew inspiration from the original drawings of the boys and mixed various forms of animation on a live-action video backdrop.
I filmed and edited the footage together as well as animate some scenes of the possum, and all the additional stop-motion animals during the rescue scene.
